we’re changing our name to BuddyPower
Hi to all members of Fat Happens! Just a quick alert to tell you we’re changing our name to BuddyPower (www.Buddypower.net) – because that’s what matters!
Over the past year, our community has grown and grown and so many of the letters I get say how important the “buddying” part is – that we thought let’s call it after its main strength – the power of friendship – the power of buddies!
After all, as we all try to fight our own very personal weight problems, we all know how lonely it can be, and how helpful it is to talk to others who empathise, because they’re going through the same thing. At Buddypower.net, you will still have your buddies, all the gossip and news, and weekly access to some of the best weight loss experts there are – plus you will be able to arm yourself with information about all of the different ways of losing weight and getting slimmer and fitter.
Nothing else has changed. Only the name.
You don’t even have to type in the new one – if you enter the old FatHappens web address – Buddypower.net will come up. You don’t have to change your membership details – it all remains the same…

I just thought it was about time we stopped defining ourselves by the word “Fat” and went instead for what can really make a difference – Buddypower.
Be proud of your membership – and pass it on. It’s still totally free and open to everyone who wants to get slim, fit and make friends.
