Launched in September 2005, the brand was a natural extension of Jo Wood’s passionate commitment to organic living, both in her family’s day-to-day life, and on the road with the Rolling Stones. The range bought Jo almost immediate recognition within the beauty industry, enhancing her reputation as a pro-active ambassador for all things eco!

There are 4 sophisticated fragrances in the range – AMKA, USIKU, TULA & LANGA. The names are drawn from Jo’s love of Africa where she holidays with her family every year.
Jo’s passion was to create beautiful fragrances that have a top, middle and base note so Jo worked with a fragrance house in the world famous Grasse, home to some of the most prestigious fragrances in the world. All the fragrances are then combined with all the wonderful ingredients and actives that run throughout the body care range.
The range includes: Eau de Toilettes, Aromatherapy Bath Oils, Cleansing Body Mousses, Exfoliating Salt, Scrubs, Body Oils, Nourishing Body Creams, Natural Wax Candles and Gift Sets.

Amka means “to wake” in Swahili
With a romantic heart of Iranian rose otto, Egyptian jasmine and bright fresh top notes of neroli and
bergamot, Amka is a fragrance of energy and spontaneity. Green mandarin and sweet orange add a fresh, vibrant layer, and the whole combination is founded in a soft, spicy base of cedarwood.

USIKU – a sensual spicy, woody & earthy fragrance
Usiku means “night” in Swahili
Warm and sensual fragrance with a fresh, vibrant edge, Usiku combines top notes of rosemary and

Langa means “sunshine” in Xhorsa
