This is my story
I was born, I ate, I got nagged, I stopped eating, got smaller, ate again, got bigger, stopped, got smaller, ate again, got bigger..... I could go on :)
This is my blog about my weight loss journey with a lap-band. I've toyed with putting it 'out-there' and was initially going to keep a paper journal (blimey - how very retro!). However, I spend a lot of time on my pc and have read other peoples' blogs and found them useful.
I'm pre-op and am due to be banded on 1st February 07. So far the blog's just been a lot of ramblings but I'm using it as much as a tool for my head as I hope the lap-band will be for my weight.
I'm not going to be so arrogant as to think it will make for fascinating reading but I am going to record my ups and downs (excuse the pun) along my journey. It's very much warts and all (but will try not to be icky!), so perhaps it may be useful to people considering getting banded.
At the end of the day, I can't type and eat at the same time .... oh sorry, I can ... my mistake.
