This is my story
Hi there,
I am divorced, with 2 grown up children and live with a partner. I have always had issues with my weight, loose 2 stone, put a stone back on and just get totally fed up with starting diets!! Also found out that I have an underactive thyroid. So, last July I had a gastric band fitted. Initially I did loose weight, but then started getting food stuck. I have only had 1 fill since then and progress is very slow. I have booked for my 2nd fill on the 18 Feb, so just hope that this helps. I had my operation done through the Hospital Group and everything went well. I met Anne Diamond at one of the seminars, in Leeds, about 3 years ago and she inspired me to go ahead with it. (even though it took me a long time to have it done) - I think that it's the Libran in me!! Would love to hear from other people
