This is my story
I had a gastric band fitted on November 4th 2006, after reading Annes story in the paper and also meeting with surgeons, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I felt it was the last resort for me. I was operated on by Mr Shaw Somers, who I think is just amazing.
I am now just looking forward to working very hard and loosing the weight. Fed up of being told 'you have such a pretty face'....and i know they are thinking shame about the rest of u!
Anyone with any help and advice, i would really appreciate as i am now only at the very beginning of my journey which i know is going to be hard work.
8th Feb- I am now nearly 3 stone lighter, very very happy! Working very hard at the gym and trying to keep fit and healthy. Looking forward to the summer and hopefully a whole new Wardbrobe...
8th May- 4 stone off and another 3 and a half to go...its hard work but so worth it!
19th July 07- 5 Stone off- 2 and half to go.... getting much harder, but its going in the right direction, I cant bear to look at old photographs of myself anymore.
