This is my story
Always been overweight, have been dieting since I was a teenager. Really starting putting on weight after having first baby. Have put on about 2 stone in the last 4 years. Have tried every diet but have no willpower. I lose about a stone then feel really good in my clothes and start eating again. I have had enough of not being able to buy nice clothes, going shopping with my daughters and buying them nice clothes to compensate for not being able to buy them for myself. Waking up every morning thinking about my weight and promising myself I will start a diet today, but then losing willpower by dinnertime. I have been considering surgery for the last year and have just made an appointment to see a consultant about gastric band. I feel this is my last chance to lose weight. Would particularly like to hear from anyone who has had band fitted in Dublin.
