This is my story
my names sarah and im 21 years old and for most of my life i have been over weight , the smallest i can remember being is a size 14 and 11stone.
All of my friends are really slim and pretty and ive always felt left out , when i started school i was constantly teased for being big and that really shattered my confidence and i have really low self esteem and becuase of that i am very shy and with drawn , because i was teased i hid away in my bedroom and ate for comfort as i did this alot i piled on the weight and before i knew it i hit a massive 18 stone.
Im only 21 i dont want to be big for the rest of my life so this year (2007) i decided to take grastic measures and have a gastric band fitted , i went for my first consultation with the surgeon on the 19th of january 2007,i was determined i was going to have this done so 3 weeks after the consultation i decided to go ahead with the operation, i had my band fitted on the 21st of febuary 2007 , i had my band fitted in belguim with the cosmetic group ELYZEA.
