This is my story
Hi there. I have struggled with my weight for my whole life. I was bullied at school as I was always the biggest one. Life has always been hard being overweight. At times I have lost weight and been very happy with my appearance and health but the weight has always gone on again. I have dabbled with slimming pills and gained even more weight as a result. I had a gastric band fitted on the 7th of February 2007 and feel a bit disappointed by the results. I have lost a stone but I had expected to lose that amount every month. I don't think I was really prepared for the ability to eat fattening foods after having the band fitted. My first fill was on the 26th of March and my next is on the 4th of May and I can't wait. Hopefully I will notice a difference after that.
