This is my story
i was always bigger than all the rest of the kids at school in height . but of course that also made me heavier than all the rest also ..
when i got married i was about a size 16 which at 5ft 8ins i was'nt all that bothered about ..
then at the age of twenty i started having children and the weight piled on and by the time i haf my last child 22 yrs ago i was about 15 stones ..
that crept up to 17 about three yrs ago and i packed up smoking and put on three more stones .i never thought i would end up twenty stones , just goes to show .
anyway i decided enough was enough last year and asked my gp to refer me for weight loss surgery, she agreesd and i awaited an appointment from an endocrinologist .
i saw him last december and he said that i would have to attend weight management clinic and it would probably be about two yrs before i would be even considered .
in the meantime i came into some money and went private.and had my DS surgery six weeks ago and have so far lost nearly 9 stones ..
and now i can eat to live and not live to eat ...
