This is my story
Hi I am Kate i am 37 and am going to have a gastric band fitted in September, i am full of mixed emotions at the moment, but having weighed up the pros and cons think this is the only way i am going to lose the weight and keep it off. my husband is very supportive and although also anxious he has always been very suportive and there for me though all my weight gains and losses. I have 2 small boys who are wonderful but i am fed up of not being able to do things with them due to my weight.
Hopefully once the weight has started to come off i will be able to do more with them and feel that i am a better mother towards them.
Will keep you updated on how it goes in september
