This is my story
Well my story is that I have been in the obese range, all my life, well from as young as I can recall. Remember that I was in hospital age 10 re my weight. so I was a large one, have no photos of me non overweight. So I developed with being obese, and all the side effects and hangups that come with that. Believe me, becoming overweight/obese in late teens is different to; it being an childhood thing. Have lost weight, in large amounts before up to double figures, but always stopped, before getting my target. I fel as if I am trapped within an self imposed bondage of weight, which has efected me in many ways and denied me so must in life. I have tried so many times to lose the weight, and never reached goal. I got trapped in the fear of failure. ie what was the sense staying at 14 st, maybe still 20st. Only after losing 1st in 7 weeks @ Slimming World. Would love to lose weight to find the real me, as I have acted my whole life, trying to be accepted etc. Would like to lose my weight in a normal sense, just to feel normal. I dont Question the choices of others, cos many years ago I would have had my jaws wired. And never would rule out anything!
