This is my story
Hi,
I am 39 yrs old and have been struggling with my weight since i was 18 when i had my son, i was also diagnosed with polycistic ovary syndrome. Since then I have tried most diets.... WW,SW,cambridge,Lighter Life, Slimming Magazine, Counting Calories ....to name just a few!! I have had weight loss, but then my weight always stays the same after losing 5/6 stone. I can put on a stone within a week! I lost 7st last year on L/L and put it all back on within 3months. I am currently 26st 3lbs (the heaviest i have been is 27st 10lbs).
I am due to have a Gastric Bypass on the 23rd April 08 ( I can't wait!) I am very apprehensive...but sooooo excited atthe same time. I know i have a long way to go, but just want to feel good about myself...Watch this space!

Well I am 4wks 3days post op! Op went well, no probs. Still trial and error with food at the moment, can eat small amounts. Have been out for a few meal and haven't found it a problem (have shared a meal or had part of a kids meal). No regrets now post op. Totally the right decision, so glad I listened to the surgeon and had the bypass rather than the band. I'm still a nervous wreck over each twinge, but HEY thats me!! lol. Could't have done this without the kind words and support from all the buddies on here! Will update again soon xxx
