This is my story
Hi, my name is Karen, I am 50 years old and live in Hull, I have struggled with weight isues all of my life - I have never been slim. Over the years I have joined every slimming class in the area and tried all sorts of 'crank' diets and slimming tablets.
Last year I bit the bullet and asked my GP about WLS, he was happy to refer me to Mr C Royston who then recommended Gastric bypass surgery. On 26th October 2007 I had my life changing operation and haven't looked back. The weight is steadily coming off and I have never felt better - should have done it years ago!!
