This is my story
i have always been bigger then average but in the last 15 years, sitting in desk job i have piled it on. i used to be fat and happy, i wish for those days about 6 stone ago when i thought i was huge. i've tried all of the diets, i know all of the facts, i'm not stupid, but i still cannot stick to healthy eating, portion control or an excercise plan - i'm just stuck.......
earlier this year i decided to go for the gastric band, spent the summer researching it, soul searching and procrastinating about it, and i'm finally booked in for the 25th october with mr duff bruce in aberdeen - can't wait, but starting to get a bit nervous now. i really wish i had found this website sooner, it's fab, friendly and honest, which is refreshing, it's not all doom and gloom like some others, but a bit of reality is not a bad thing and it's here in spades - i think i'll be spending most of my recovery time surfing these pages for support!
