This is my story
I am nearly 30yrs old and have always been overweight, as far as i can remember...
My story is much similar to many others i have read on here. There has been the embarrassment and health risks but most imporantly i have felt unhappy and unattractive being so big.
I felt desperate to lose this weight and felt that I was too big for any more medical weight loss programmes, unable to foresee losing that much weight. I I decided to get a gastric band fitted. My band went in 20th october 2007, so only 4weeks in but feel good so far....
I am keen to chat to other people who have had a band fitted and hopefully their stories will encourage me and insire me whilst on my journey to looking and feeling great!
