This is my story
Im pretty much your average overweight person who has tried just about every diet going, know exactly what 'healthy eating' constitutes, could write myself a perfect diet plan etc etc but just never manages to really get anywhere. I enjoy eating healthily, but I also enjoy chocolate, fresh white baguettes with lots of butter, take-aways and drinking -wine, lager, g&t's, whatever really! So, too many downfalls and not enough willpower, sound familiar...?!
I could easily go out and order a nice big salad, as long as I had a bottle of wine next to me! I know I need to do more exercise too, I was a stone lighter this time last year because I was going to the gym all the time. I walk quite a bit, about an hour or two a day, but as much as everyone always says, oh yes, walking is the perfect exercise, it just isn't enough for me. I need to be sweating it out for an hour, 3 or 4 times a week if I want to see a difference! I just wish willpower came in tablet form! |
