This is my story
I used to be very athletic and active in various activities (karate, swimming, cricket) - I have also been a power weightlifter.
I moved to the UK 10 years ago and also have a growing family.. Due to work and home pressures and the type of work I do (8-10 hours in front of a computer) my weight has shot up in the last 10 years. I used to do stomach crunches which when I stopped has given me a large belly. From highly active to total inactivity has been the real factor behind this weight-gain I think.

With that I have started getting all the weight related problems like backaches, cholestrol, blood pressure (although now it is under control), sleep apnoea.. and I am high risk

I have now suddenly woken up and would like to do something so that I lose some weight drastically and then after the initial 15 kgs, I would then like a more gradual reduction of a further 30kgs. However I do not have a clue where to start.

I have just gone out and bought Lipobind and CLA. Someone told me about drinking lots of water before meals. I am looking at Atkins diet, cabbage soup...

I just hope I dont break my resolve and stick to my plan.
