This is my story
I have always been overweight and have tried many diets.But nothing has worked long term. I am now waiting to have a gastric band fitted.My first appointment is coming up in May followed by several other appointments i think to make sure im suitable,then i hope to go on the waiting list.I feel its my only hope as im 46 and ive never been able to lose weight on my own so this is my last chance......Update 20/11/08.Decided on a gastic bypass instead of a band and now have a date for surgery of 5th January 2009.
