This is my story
Hello
I am Kate, 28 years and live in Worthing West Sussex. I am married and have 2 beautiful girls. I have worked in Recruitment for 8 years.
For as long as i can remember i have always been fat. I can blame it on things that have happened in my life but the long and short of it is i am a pig and love food! lol Theres nothing more i like than an Indian and a few glasses of Pinot.
The closest i came to my goal weight was a spell at Lighterlife were i managed to live on soup and water for 5 months, shifting 8 stone! But over time and not sticking to the regeme i gained it all and some.
After thinking long and hard i decided the only way i would ever lead a normal healthy life would be for me to have surgery. I went to see my doctor 2 years ago to be told i wouldnt be funded by the NHS. A month later i was pregnant and as thrilled as i was, this ment more weight!!!
I have decided to have a bypass and surgery will be in approx 4 months with Shaw Somers! I cant wait. I would love to chat to anyone whos battled the bulge or in the same situation as me.

After waiting months and months, my op is 1st October!
