This is my story
I am 49 mother of 6, married to a fabulous man who loves me however I look! That can be good - but also it "lets me off" dieting!!
I am either on a diet and failing and feeling so sad and fed up, or I am doing very well on a diet (lighterlife last year - lost 7 stone in 5 months) and feeling on top of the world. I find the attention that I get when I am on a diet very hard to handle - everyone tells you what they think you look like - and everyone takes over -
I have done the lot - Weight Watchers - Slimming World - Lighter LIfe - Atkins - Carlory counting - eating nothing! you name it - When I was in my early 20s I had my jaws wired ( professionally!)..very upsetting and a terrible thing to do to yourself!
I really thought that I had cracked it last year with Lighter Life - but the weight has come back, in the same time it took to loose it :(
I am having a gastric bypass in St Richards/ Chichester by Shaw Somers
May 2008 - I have now been given NHS funding......so hopefully in the next 3-6 months................
***UPDATE ***- Bypass booked for the 8th October 2008
RNY Bypass done and looking forward now to a slim future!
