This is my story
I am 40 years old, very happily married and very unhappily morbidly obese, which is why I am here. After many years of asking for help, I finally found a doctor who took me seriously and not only sent my details to my now dietician, also got me tested for sleep apnoea (which I have severely). One cpap mask later and a visit to my dietcian has resulted in the decision to head down the road of WLS. I have done alot of research, have had a phsyc assessment and am now undergoing councelling in preparation for the journey ahead. I have my consultation on 8th August, which I am excited and apprehensive about, but know that having others to talk to it about who have or are going through it will help.
