This is my story
I am pleased to say that after years of struggling with my weight I have just had the help I needed, a gastric bypass from Mr Somers on the 24th July, I feel like this is the start of my life, I will never be fat again. My weight stopped me going out as I was paranoided people were always staring at me and making comments as I walked past, my weight was destroying my life.
My problem with my weighted started way back as a child of about 5 ish, I can remember my mum saying I couldn't have another cake or biscuit otherwise I would get fat, this was the story of my life, my mum took me to weightwatchers when I was 12, I can still remember what they said to this day,I was so embarrassed.
From the age of 12 I have yo-yo dieted, doing every diet known, slimming world - lighterlife & every diet pill, on lighterlife I lost an incrediable 10st but as soon as I stopped I put all the weight back on and more, I did learn what was my trigger foods and that I carry a lot of baggage from my childhood, plus I am a single parent of 3 children 2 who are disabled and I turn to food as a comfort as well as a destructive tool.
But no more, this is a new start for me and my children, when I get smaller and less parnoid I would like to take them to DisneyLand, so next year we will be alot happier, I can't wait.
