This is my story
Have been obese all my life, have no self confidence and find it so hard to believe in myself. Had a band fitted aug 2007, lost five and a halve stone but have recently put on 10lb by comfort eating. took 3 band fills before i had any restriction and on the 4th fill then had to have some taken out as too tight ! not much restriction at the moment and most of my weight loss is due to dieting, feel very low about it all. I knew a band wasn't an "easy option" for weightloss but having trouble with my willpower and self control. Would just like to find some buddy's who know how i feel and also be here for anyone else that needs a shoulder to cry on or some one to rejoice with !! Have a 26yr old daughter and 25yr old son by my first marriage and a very very demanding and active 7yr old son by my second. I know deep down i think that by losing weight i would be more of a worthy person but also know that that statement is a load of rot, so have lots of "fat" issues.my main passion in life other than my 3 exceptional children are animals, i breed , show and run a rescue for a giant breed of dog, and live on a small working farm in rural Norfolk.
UPDATE 18/08/09 Have seperated from my husband, moved house and got myself down to 16.7lb by dieting, gave up with the band !
