This is my story
I have been overweight all my life - apart from 6 months in my 20's when I lost 4 stone through a meal replacement diet. My big failing was comfort eating.
For the last 2 years I have thought about weight loss surgery - it is the only sustainable way for me to lose10 stone and not spend the second half of my life overweight. I finally did something about it in May - and on Aug 2nd I had gastric by-pass surgery. I am very happy I decided to go ahead. It isn't all plain sailing, but it does feel like finally I have found something that will work.
