This is my story
Hi Im 39, married with two lovley kids. I seem to have battled my weight since being a teenager. Two years ago I lost eight stone with lighter life - but the weight crept back on. Although my family and friends part of my life is good - I am really low about my weight. I could'nt get a gp refferal for wls but I scraped the money together to get a gastric band. I had the operation five weeks ago. Ideally I would just like to be able to find some nice clothes to wear and feel good about myself. Worrying about my weight for 20 years has made my self esteem rubbish and I don't want my kids growing up picking this up. Hope this is the beginning of a new great story in my life and I look forward to hearing from other people too.
