This is my story
Hi this is me. Samantha.I have been over weight most of my adult life,(39 now) Always on a diet , going down and then up again, so last year I had a band fitted . (My mum had one fitted in 2006 and has done realy well,now living in Spain).
The best thing I ever did.Like a lot of people it was not all as straight forward as I thought it would be. I have reflux and the dreaded cough,but am hoping to find a way to live with both.
Not an easy fix that some people would have you believe. That always makes me mad when I hear people say its cheating,they ofcourse have never had a band fitted , but are always the expert when it comes to other peoples lives.
Expert by the way is a drip under pressure.
Apart from all on buddy power!!!!!! I have only told 3 people that I have been banded I was sure it would not work (nothing else had) so am over the moon that it did work and Im on my way to the me I have all ways wanted to be.
I am still losing weight 3st so far,would like to lose another 1 1/2 but time will tell.
I live on my own and some times dont eat as well as I should,so am looking for some one to chat to . Hope to meet you on buddy power.Samantha
