This is my story
I have been overweight for over 20 years. I made a decision earlier this year to have weight loss surgery. I did loads of research and decided to have the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. I used a company called Cosmetic Bliss (who are wonderful) and travelled to Brno in the Czech Republic and had my surgery on 28th October 2008. At my heaviest in September 2008 I was 19s 12lbs. I am currently 16s 10lb and I am starting see big changes in myself and feeling much, much better.
I am very happy with my 'sleeve'. I have good restriction all the time and don't have to mess around with fills and unfills. I can eat about 2oz of meat and very little vege's if I'm lucky each meal. I have stuck rigidly to the eating regime recommended and do not bother with refined carbs anymore.
I feel like I am a woman on a mission and I will suceed this time!
