This is my story
Lifelong battle with weight (am 54) and having come through the Menopause last year I was then diagnosed with Diabetes - I also have chronic IBS and trying to eat well and lose weight is driving me nuts.
Am an ill-health retired medical secretary, married almost 35 years with 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. Youngest son getting married in November and I really could do with losing some weight before then!! The problem with the menopause and diabetes is that the body moves the fat around the body depositing it around the middle which is the biggest risk area for heart attacks/strokes.
