This is my story
Been yoyo dieting for 30 years now,and at the end of my tether, so seriously considering a Gastric Band. Have joined this sight on recommendation of Jo who is also a buddy. Hope to get loads of info so I can make an informed decision.Have had consultation with dietician and surgeon who gave me the go ahead. I just need to make the right decision for me. Part of me thinks hey I'm not that big really, but the other part is so hacked off not being able to buy nice clothes from the high street apart from the "big girl" sections/shops. Cant buy nice underwear anymore, most stores and catalogues only go up bra size 38, I'm a hefty 42DD !!! yikes.
But its not just the clothes issue, its being made to feel like a less than worthy human being coz I'm overweight. I guess that is just my current lack of confidence showing.
