This is my story
At 45 and 30 years of dieting the last resort is surgery, I have been told by GP that the NHS is out of the question (No funding ).it will cost between 8 to 11,000 pounds, I would like to chat with people that have had either a gastric band or bypass surgery to help me make this huge decision on what to do.
Having a gastric bypass in Aberdeen on the 21st of May, was told to lose as much weight as possible before op (reduce risks !!!) have struggled but have managed to lose over 2stone 2lbs in 7 weeks, eating a very low calorie diet and going on treadmill for at least 1 hour every day, I hate it and am starving but have to do everything I can to help myself.
