This is my story
I had the Gastric Band in August 2008 in Belgium with Dr Chris De Bruyne. To date I have lost 54 pounds but I want to go on to lose another 96 pounds.
Long way to go yet but I know I can do it ;D
I just turned 30 and didnt want to start my 30's the same overweight person I was in my 20's. My sister in laws sister had the band fitted in Belgium 2 years ago and has lost 10 and a half stone. I talked everything through with her and decided to go for it :) Its tough going but it will all be worth it in the end. Going for yet another fill in Dublin on May 9th hopefully this time Ill finally get proper restriction as this will be my 8th fill. I currently have 7.5mls in my band.
