This is my story
From fat baby to fat child to fat teenager to fat adult! Yo-yo'd up and down all my adult life as I tried every weight loss method under the sun. Most successful in my 30s when I actually achieved size 10 - but that didn't last long. From that high point trying to keep the weight off got harder and harder - and when I gave up smoking in my 40s the weight came piling back on. Over the last 10 years, despite all my efforts, I've got progressively fatter until now I'm taking a final stand with a gastric band. Going into hospital tomorrow for the surgery - a little nervous but basically can't wait and determined to make it work!
