This is my story
Was fat kid who got slim while in the RAF, once i left it was a slow increase in weight to my original weight pre RAF. Then as i got older and started working in an office i just gained. YOYO dieting, fad diets. The usual Exercise routine but i think i was not mentally into the whole thing as i am always happy and have a great family and friends.
I would loose 2-3 stone then put it back on. In the end i got to my heaviest weight of 25stone pre-op. I am am now TAGB banded and have lost 2stone in the pre-op and post op 4 weeks. Its hard but i know its worth it.
I snored for a few yrs now and thats now gone. My water retention in my ankles has gone and thats with just 2 stone lost. So for me progress is a must.
I can now not have an extender belt on my flights and thats so nice to feel normal. Bring on the weight loss i say.
