This is my story
My weight has been a problem since my early teens, but always managing to keep to my target weight until my first pregnancy, of which I gained 5 stone. It was a hard but lost most of the excess weight within the first year. It was a constant battle to keep it off, seemed I just had to look at something fattening and put 6pounds on!!! Four years later after my second child was born and being even more vigilant with my diet this time still gained 2 and a half stone. Successful in losing most of the weight again, but it was harder and took even longer to lose this time. I am an emotional eater and through life’s hurdles found slowly the weight over the years had been creeping on. Gaining 9 stone I felt I had lost the battle! Just over three years ago my lap band was fitted loosing 4 stones in the first year with one fill. The weight started to creep on again gradually gaining a stone, after my second fill managed to lose that stone no problem. Slowly gained that stone back again in the second year and now three years later at a standstill with 6 stone to lose. Now just awaiting my third fill......
