This is my story
My weight has been up and down all my life. I am currently at my heaviest at 13.4 - I am 5'4. I was my ideal weight when I got married 15 years ago. I was originally looking at a balloon, however Emma from Healthier Weight suggested a band would be a longer term solution. I didn't think I would qualify, but it seems that isn't the case. If I was positive about not regaining the weight after the balloon is removed after its 6 month life, it would be my definitive choice. However I am now worried about post op complications like band slippage or problems with the port.
I am a Foot Health Practitioner and student podiatrist/chiropodist.
