This is my story
I am 49 nearly 50 and still fat after 40 years of dieting. i am married and have four fantastic children.
I started my first diet when I was about 10 years old and have continued and failed ever since. I have tried every diet under the sun. some work some don't but everytime I lose, it all goes back on and more!!
I went for my first consultation yesterday and hope to have a gastric band by the end of March.
I feel this is my final attempt !! I don't want to spend the next 10, 20, 30 years living like I do! I want the freedom of not carrying 5 stone of excess baggage everywhere I go. I am battling with the thought i am being selfish and paying for this treatment but for the first time ever I am putting myself first and doing this for me !
