This is my story
I am a happy healthy (so far apart from crappy knees) ) widow running a holiday apartment business in Umbria, Italy. I moved here with my second husband over 10 years ago and together we started Casa Julian holiday apartments. Sadly he developed Alzheimers disease and died over 3 years ago. Before in the UK I was a high powered Human Resources executive and also a local councillor but when I married for the second time we decided to change direction and move to Italy. I have a daughter and two grandchildren in the UK whom I miss very much. I have had a lifetime weigh problem and gave up on dieting after years of yo yo dieting and steady weight gain. at my worst I weighed over 19 stone and now try to eat healthily and exercise a lot. I do all the general maintenance on my property and have a large vegetable patch. i have two Labrador dogs which I exercise pretty regularly but despite all this I remain resoulutely overweight
