This is my story
I had a Gastric Band on 8th October 2010, after living all of my life starting off "chubby", and ending up at 15 stone 7 lbs. I managed to lose 4 stone after the break up of my first marriage, then when I found love and hapiness again, relaxed and let every pound creep back on again. My poor husband, he had a size 14 girlfriend, and has ended up with a size 22 wife. I have tried every diet and pill/patch and have managed to lose some weight, only for it to climb back on again, plus more. I want to not be disgusted with myself, avoid mirrors, and have the first and last thought of every day to be unhappiness about my weight. I'll be 40 in May, and I am determined to get another 40 years of life, this time not overweight. Fingers crossed!!
