This is my story
Like most people on this site, i have tried all slimming clubs, to lose the weight and then put it back on again, Sooo fed up at not being able to get slim and stay slim, i decided to have a gastric band. the NICE guidelines in UK meant I couldn't have it done here, so I went to Belguim and had it done on the 11th July 06. Its now over 3 years since my band was fitted and so far i have lost 56lbs, it has been very slow and sometimes frustrating, but worth it, and i know the weight won't go back on again. I had my third fill June 08 and now only have another 3 or5lbs to get to goal, its so slow, but worth it, can take 6 months to lose 7lbs, but I am so much happier. I still havent told anyone about my band, only my hubby and sister know about it, and Im fine with that, apart from when people say I eat so slow, or "is that all you're having" i am running out of excuses.... anyway thats me ...
