This is my story
After a lucrative career in Local Govt. I was made redundant in 1992 with a decent pension at the age of 45. I stopped all exercise drank and ate more and generally slobbed out with numerous failed diets along the way until a heart attack in 2004 changed my life and lifestyle. 2nd Heart attack in the gym in 2005 and 3rd heart attack after nearly choking to death on a piece of apple. Still had weight problems until I was given a sleeve gastrectomy at St. George's Hospital Tooting in May 2011 and now 8 stone lighter after 8 months I feel like I have been reborn and have regained my self esteem and love for fashion.still got another 4 stone to go and I will do it but it is costing me a small fortune in clothes but it is a small price to pay for the way I feel now.
